Blueberry Muffin for my 45 year old Birthday. I was coming back from hospital. My man had only time to get my favourite Muffin prior to bringing me back home. It was the impromptu Muffin!

Muffins have been part of my life at a later stage of it when I came to England in 1996, age 20. It was kind of a discovery and love at first bite. Of course I did go for the double Chocolate one at first.

However the Lemon and Poppy seeds Muffin became a firm favourite during my time working for Caffe Nero. The Muffin became my Tea Time treat on my way back home to Romford at the end of the day.

One Muffin which did stand the test of time for me is the good old Blueberry Muffin. It is just a go to, which my Man knows. Hence when I was unable to have a proper Birthday I still had a lovely thoughtful one with shop bought Bleberry Muffin. It was touching.

As above I do like trying some unusual combinations. This was one of Jamie Oliver's recipes which was quite delightful. As we do grow Chillies, I always search recipes for them. That quirky one wasn't a miss, it was a hit. Even my Man who doesn't like Sweet Potatoes ate most of those Muffins.
