The beneficial aspect of it is that you can re-use your Chicken after the Roast, the day after. With the Carcass you can do a earthy and rich in flavours Chicken Stock, perfect for Broth and Soups. With the White Meat you can do Salads, Sandwiches... With the Offals you can do Patés, or Devilled Kidneys. Like Pork a Chicken is not just a one off. You can get many Meals out of one.
