One of the most simple Snack one can do is to prepare a little Platter of Salami. The choice of Salami is huge out there therefore you can choose one particurlar type of Salami for the Platter or many different kinds. When I invite Guests a Salami platter along with apéritif is always appreciated. When my Partner and I watch a good Movie together we often snack on a good Salami Platter. It is the perfect chilling out time Platter.

Ingredients

Be generous with the Salami 24 slices for 2 or 48 for 4 people. Here the Salami is a Salami Pepperoni one within a pepper coating contour.

Branches of the Aromatic Rosemary, 2 to 4, cut in roughly 4cm each.

Green Olives, an entire Jar.

1 Crusty Bread like a Baguette or even a Pain de Campagne, or a Sourdough Bread.

Optional: Gherkins, Cream Cheese stuffed Cherry Bombs Chilli Peppers, Garlic Bread, Yellow or Red Baby Plum Tomatoes.

Steps

A Platter is usually easy to prepare, this Salami platter doesn't execpt this kind of rules.

First of course you need to find the perfect dish to assemble your elements used. A nice large wooden Board for exemple gives a welcomed Rustic look.

Second place the Salami of your choice. You can fold it without making any breakage in a simple yet attractive fashion. You can lay the Salami flat and overlapping the other slices, this is quietly understated but stylish nonetheless. Another fashionista for Salami is to roll it up to form cigars. The advantages of it is that way is good to make room for the other elements you are planning to use.

For the Aromatic Rosemary it cut through the fatiness of the Salami. Cut the Branches in easy manageable to eat portions. Rosemary is very decorative as well. So put it where it will be the more attractive and not into a cluster. 

However for the Green Olives a cluster of them does give a sense of plenty. The little saltiness of the Olives counter balance well with Salami.

Cut Bread in large thick slice. The crustier the Bread the Better to give texture to the Salami Platter.

If using Tomatoes, it gives and additional burst of colour which will provide a very nice contrast to the other elements. Not forgetting a certain juiciness

The same apply to the stuffed Cherry Bomb Chilli which is red but you must like it spicy then, despite the Cream Cheese inside them which in smooth and cooling.

For a certain acidity go for some pickled Gerkhins. I adore the small kind with pearls pickled Onions. They delightfully are bringing a contrast to the Salami.

Once Salami components are there upon the platter, you can enjoy it at leisure.
