One of my pairs of Gardening footwear.

When one does like Gardening or even loves it, a lot of paraphernalia comes into play. I will say it feels almost like one step at a time. From back in the days, I remember being given a glass Terrarium with Fittonia and Cactus inside it. The Terrarium had the shape of a Pear. Awesome present if I may say which made me like growing Plants.

One thing when you go gardening is to know your seasons and from one day to another it can get very cold, frosty and muddy. Therefore one of my most useful accessory for the Garden has to be the 'Wellies' or some sort of Wellington Boots. The steady and sturdy kind which will allow you to walk with some sort of security.

Confession for confession, because I have difficulty to walk, I mustn't go in the Garden without the proper boots or shoes. Especially when it is a rainy day or a snowy one, beause then it could be a matter of 'Oups, I did fall again' and then A&E... So I do have different Garden Shoes for different weathers, the just in case kind of thing.

The ankle Bee Boots. They are tight and are giving a sturdy grip on the ground on a wet day.

Another accessory which is ever so useful comes in a pair as well: Gardening Gloves. I do enjoy growing Roses but one needs to take precaution to not hurt themself to care for them. Gloves are essential to protect but also to not have very dirty hands after a little potting about spot of gardening.

Another couple of accessories which I do find essential are labels and a marker pen. For if you grow many Flowers or Vegetables, it allows you to recognise (A) which Variety you did plant and the when, (B) What works for your garden and your climate/environment/position. It may sound like a relatively simple suggestion and you may trust your memory but if you did suffer from multiple seizures like I did, the memory does suffer and this tagging system in a sense helps to ground you back to the where, when, what you were doing and what were your undertaking and projects.

Carmel Blue Fuchsia hanging basket. Every year I have pet project of hanging baskets. I have only three places for the baskets. One is always a Fuchsia and I love trying different varieties. But I also like to know which did work best in what position. The same goes for one basket which end up with small Tomatoes trials. The Bumble Bee kind were the best ones for me so far. The other basket is reserved for my whim and fancy of the year. This year 2022, it is for a try on Sweet Peas, a variety called 'Sweet Heart'.

I must mention being the owner of a small suburban Garden: Pots. Decorative or not they are a necessity when the Garden is just decking and old paving where everything needs a big bad makeover to be better. I do like ceramic glazed pots for Flowers but I must confess to go for simply buckets for my Veg or deep grow bags. It just makes a simple distinction of what is going where. It is just helping me to know.
